Is summer over yet?

Im at that point, one foot stuck in summer and one deeply looking for a good foothold in fall. This is the first year in 8 years that Ill have 6-7 hours with no kids.... 8 years. I look foward to spending time on the computer course I have planned and walking the dogs, but Im still just amazed at the fact:
i'll have
7 hours alone every day
5 days a week
8 years since Ive had any freedom whatsoever

busy summer

Im 100% sure that I just dont blog anymore. Our summer has been extrodinarily busy. We opted out of doing any camps, on account of they cost a fortune, and instead we go to the waterpark at six flags every week. They closed our favorite section of the green river which is really sad. I guess there were a bunch of underage kids getting caught drinking there and the farmer who used to let us go there was getting harrassed by the cops, talk about ruining it for everyone. So we've been swimming in lakes and stuff but its just not the same, theres a nice one out in monterey, but you have to be a resident, luckily my inlaws just moved there and no one has hassled me about it yet...but mostly the people there are icky, new yourk transplants and old judgmental assholes. Im now completely sucked into a harry potter forum so I have to go be a geek now!
